Attendance Procedures

NMS Attendance Procedures

 

Secondary campuses do not accept phone calls for a student's absence.  An absence requires a note (parent/guardian or doctor) or an email in order for the absence to be counted as excused. The note or email must contain the student's full name, the date of absence, the reason for the absence, followed by the parent/guardian's signature.  A note must be turned in within 3 days of the student's return to school. Notes must be turned into the front office.
