Once again, the Nichols Middle School bands have earned the coveted Sweepstakes Award at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation! Both the Honor Band and Symphonic Band received a first-division rating from all six judges at this contest.

The Sweepstakes Award is the highest honor given by UIL that a middle school band can achieve. They performed a challenging program at a high level, displaying their talent. Congratulations to all of these young musicians on their hours of hard work and fine performances last week!
