Joshua ISD middle school cross country runners crushed the district competition by bringing home four team titles and two individual championships!

The Loflin Middle School seventh-grade girls are district champions, with Abbigale Gray placing 3rd, Lillian Cxwell 4th and Bella Thompson 7th. Allie Henry, Kimberly Martinez, Avery McCoy, Shanthel Ortiz, Zoe Ramos and Trina Chebaibai also contributed to the team title.
The LMS eighth-grade boys took the district title themselves, with five in the top 11 individual places. Mark Davenport - 4th, Judah Molina - 5th, Jason Cervantes - 8th, Bryan Beltran - 9th and Jaxon Reeves - 11th. Eli Brown, Elias Cortez, Tucker Davis-Payne, Logan Fielder, Ashton Kline, Eric Puga, Aaron Ruiz and Jackson Thomas also helped the team earn first place.
The LMS seventh-grade boys team finished in third place, only 5 points behind first, with Julian Duran running to the district championship and Andres Castillo taking 7th.
The LMS eighth-grade girls squad came in 4th as a team, with Brlynn Caroll placing 4th and Alyssa Steenbergen at 8th as individuals.
The Nichols Middle School seventh-grade boys earned the district championship, with Ammon Aguire placing 4th, Zadok Hollins - 5th, Alonzo Rangel - 14th, Benzz Heet - 15th, and Adam Zurovec - 16th.
The NMS eighth-grade girls also topped their division, with Elexee Ray winning the individual title too! Peyton Davis took 3rd place, Ella Wood - 12th, Haven Watson - 14th, and Natalie Prieto - 19th.
The NMS seventh-grade girls finished 3rd place, with Brooke Mosely placing 5th and Cailyn Campbell placing 9th.
